Now that the government has confirmed the ending, next week, of most Covid restrictions, business owners are making decisions about how their companies will operate, going forward.
Some have already returned to their workplaces; others are making plans to do so.
For many organisations, however, home working is continuing to feature. Some employees have switched to permanent home-working, whilst others have a hybrid arrangement with part of the week in the office and the rest of the time at home.
There are advantages and disadvantages of home-working – both for the employee and employer. One of the downsides for the employer is the additional risks that come with control being more “arms-length.”
